Jody and I went to Dr.Roberts today (my ob/gyn) and she put the doppler on my belly to listen to the baby's heartbeat but she didn't hear it. She asked us to meet her at the hospital at 4:30 today and she would do an emergancy ultrasound. She did the ultrasound and we got to actually see the baby's heartbeat!! She figures we couldn't hear anything because it might have been hideing behind my pubic bone. She tried to print off some pictures for us but she wasn't sure how because she wasn't trained. She would have gotten someone to show her but another doctor was waiting for the ultrasound machine. Oh well, next time. The baby looks like a little alien LOL. The first time I seen Landon through ultrasound I was like 18 weeks so he was a lot more developed. Dr.Roberts told us that we should be able to find out the sex of our baby when we have our next ultrasound August 28th. We have Cassidy Fay Fowler picked out for a girl and Dakota David Fowler for a boy.

We went to Dr.Roberts today and finally got to hear the heartbeat. It was 140 beats per minute. I can feel the baby moving a little and giving little kicks but Jody can't feel it just yet. I'll be glad when he can. He'll be forever feeling my belly lol

Aug 28th - 19 weeks today
We went for our ultrasound today. The baby was being stuborn at first and was facing in so all the tech could see was the baby's spine. I went to the bathroom and that made the baby turn around for us so we could see it's face. We have a doctors appointment September 1st and my OB will be able to tell us what we're having...it's going to be a long 4 days of wondering if there is a boy or a girl in there lol!!

Sept 2nd 2009 - 19 weeks 5 days
We went to see Dr. Roberts yesterday. She said our blood work came back great, and that our baby is perfect. She asked Landon if he wants a brother or a sister, Landon said sister (his answer changed everyday lol) and Dr. Roberts said "I think you'd be better off wanting a brother". Jody was like "It's a boy?" and she said "Yep, it's a boy"!. It was surprised as I thought for sure I was having a girl because I was craving sweet things this time where as with Landon it was sour things like pickles and orange juice, I had a lot more heartburn and people said I was carrying the way I would if I was having a girl. Dakota was playing tricks on us lol. I did have all of the text on this page as yellow so I figured I can change it to blue now lol. I'm glad we're having a boy as I can use a lot of things from Landon and my best friend is due to have her baby boy any day now so our boys will only be 4 months apart. I still sit here in shock sometimes and think "Wow, there's going to be 3 boys in the house" (Jody, Landon and now Dakota) lol. It's hard to believe that this Friday I will be half way through!!!
Sept 2nd Dakota just kicked and both Jody and I seen my belly move!! That was at 11:47 PM
