Landon Brady Cochrane came into my life Sunday, October 22nd, 2006 at 3:07AM. He was 4 days early. I started with contractions Saturday night but I thought they were braxton hicks contractions. By 2-3pm on Sunday they started to get stronger and more frequent so we went to the hospital. I was 3 cm dialted so they broke my water. They gave me the "pit drip" to hurry things along. When I was 7 cm dialated the contractions were coming hard and fast ,the demerol wasn't working anymore so I got the epidural. I slept through the worst of the labor and woke up to push. Landon's heart beat slowed and I almost had to get a c-section but thankfully just as they called the Doctor in to prep me for surgery it picked back up. I pushed for about 15-20 minutes and then all of a sudden I looked down and seen him come out with the assistance of Doctor Kogan (Dr.Brodie was still away in Italy). He weighed 7lb 10 oz. It's now the 26th (when he was supposed to be born) and things are going great. I love my boy so much :o)
